COVID memes is an archive of the signs, screenshots and jokes people made to get through the pandemic, from the toilet paper panic of early 2020 through lockdowns, mask mandates and vaccine rollouts.

Each post pairs one meme with a short write-up on the context behind it: what was happening at the time, why it landed, and what it says about how people coped. The aim is to keep a record of the humour of the period before it disappears from people’s camera rolls.

New posts go up weekly. Posts are organised by category and are also available by RSS.
